Hallo-wishes: the planning starts

           It's official! My planning for halloween has begun! I even know what I am going to dress up as! RAINBOW BRITE! She was my hero as a kid. The only issue is, the costume's largest size is XL.. and that fits up to 170lbs. I am.. well.. a bit over that.. and have no time to loose about 50lbs before Halloween. I want to get a look at it. Maybe I can alter it so it is a tad bigger. The skirt looks big and I wear smaller shirts.. so that might still work. fingers crossed.

      I also want to fix the rainbow belt to be closer to what the real one looks like! I don't know about the red straps on the shoulders.. this outfit looks more like an 'adult Rainbow Brite' (without being tarted up). I know I LOVE the wig! They sell that too! Maybe next year I will make a 'undread Rainbow Brite' to get double use of the costume! Maybe use it at a convention if I can alter it to the point that it looks more 'authentic'.


       How cool is that!? We go to the Mickey's not-so-scary halloween party at disney every year! This year, HUBBY IS COMING!! He is talking about dressing up too.. I suggested he dress up as Hal Jordan (green lantern), and he agreed that it would be epic!!! He is rather picky about it though. He wants to go to the costume shop and try it on to see how well it fits before figuring out which one he wants. They have a TON of Green Lantern costumes this year. 

     Even the girls have figured out what they are doing. Mouse wants to be Rapunzel. after all, when the movie came out EVERYONE said that she acts and looks like Rapunzel. It makes perfect sense. Also tot-zilla will be Supergirl! I think it will be a cool costume for her. With daddy going as a DC character, it would work well. Either that, wonder women, or if something else catches my eye. I wish they had a Twink costume (Rainbow Brite's sidekick). That would  be epic! 


       Will have more pictures and details as my planning continues. I want to decorate NOW! Yet, I don't want the Halloween decor to distract from Tot-zilla's brithday party at the end of this month. That will give me time to do some shopping and get back all the cool halloween stuff I use to have before we moved to the dinky little apartment we lived in last year.
