I Keep Telling Myself.....Don't worry, be happy!

Easier said then done, right?

I actually have a lot to look forward to.

After the hellish week I had precious, everyone will be happy to know that everything will be getting better from here! I had a better week all the way around. Morgan got better at home, but still was acting up in school. I have learned that I have been the problem and I am learning to deal with it. I have been giving in to things that I didn't realize that I shouldn't have. For example: if I am planning on making a dinner (and there is an option I KNOW she would eat) I would often ask her.. and if she 'didn't feel like that' I would settle on something else. I know now that I can't let her run things as much as she would like... weather it keeps the peace of rocks the boat. No more. Now she is starting to get a lot better... and even better, Joe and I are on the same page. She had a GREAT day Monday... but yesterday she was really sick. She even threw up in the car while waiting on the bus.. eww! I kept her out yesterday and today to make sure she was feeling better before sending her back.

The other thing that has been on my plate is my pregnant cat (yes, Rukia) went into labor on Monday night. She was having contractions and all that jazz.. so set up the bathroom for her to be comfortable in. I didn't want the girls to mess with her or the kittens. Plus, I know it is a messy process and didn't want any of the gunk on the apartment carpet. She was starting to bleed Tuesday morning and was for sure that we would have kittens by the time I got home. When I got home, there were two kittens. One was not even fully developed... he had no back part of his body at all... only front legs and the head starting to form. the rest was like a bean. It was interesting. The other was fully developed and it looks like she already cleaned him up.. but he didn't make it either. Poor things. She still looks like she is pregnant, but she hasn't passed any more babies. She doesn't appear to be having anymore contractions and she is calm as a cucumber. I was reading online that some cats go into what is called 'interrupted Labor' where they will have a few kittens, then stop for a day or two before resuming having the others. I hope on hope that is the case.

BUT!!!!! I am trying to not let all this bother me. I have a lot to look forward to! Widget has a few Thursdays off coming up, so we might get to have a little girl-ron time! Also, I am going to help a friend get her hands on her very first Asian Ball-Jointed Doll! (ABJD's for short) once her tax money comes in. I am so glad to get one of my best friends into my hobby. AND, I finally sent my doll (Alister)'s head to get painted! I got an update from her this morning and he looks AWESOME. As dashing as ever. The new excitement has me goofing off with my dolls again.

I need to get back to 'Resin Reflections' and get things set up for the photo-stories that I am going to start there. It will be fun!

Catch ya on the flipside!
