Charrrrrrge it! International Mall

Today was an adventure at the Mall. The Mouse had a hot date with R's Son, Xian!

We met up at the International Mall with R, Xian, & Widget for some lunch. Widget sprung for Ice cream for the kidos while she and I went over to indulge out our feminine need of chocolate!

Even better, they had pastry filled with chocolate! I never had Nutella before. It seem the best way to have my first experience with the stuff. Widget had one with JUST Nutella, while mine was loaded with Marshmallows and gram crackers. It was good! I think Tot-Zilla loved it too.. since she really is not a fan of cold things.

We sat to eat and R disappeared to the haven that was Starbucks! After we ate, we took the kids on the clear elevator. Ever been on those with a five-year-old and a eight-year-old. The excitement in

such a small space was enough to make you want to be a kid again and fall in love with all those simple pleasures in life! We discovered 3D TV's in the sony store (which, frankly, give me a headache. I think I will be an old fuddy duddy and stick to my HD TV) Then, ventured into a kids clothing store that had the

CUTEST little nit hats for Mouse's age! They are akin to the anime hats that everyone wears, but with regular animals. I was tempted to buy her one that was a purple cat. She loved it, But

I wanted to save the funds we had for food or for things that really slap up in the face. You k

now those things.. you see them and you start with the 'must have' grabby hands!

After buying a pair of pants for Xian, we move to the Hello Kitty store... Wanna get a kid her girly -pink overload? That is the place. Call me crazy, but I lean more toward the darker lovers in the spectrum. However, it doesn't stop me from loving some Hello Kitty!! Unfortunately, the baby needed changed, so Mouse stayed to experience the girl-gasmic wonder of the

japanese ambassador and the rest of the party went on the great bathroom hunt!!

At one point in the evening, we stopped off into one of the main stores. Inside, they have this

BEAUTIFUL Display of butterflies dangling over the escalators. There much of been hundreds of them!! I went camera nuts!! I know I will be posting more pictures in my Photography blog if you are interested. I will be posting a link to the post at the bottom as soon as

I put it in the photo-blog. I hope the few I put up here give justice to the shear magnitude of the display. I even went up and down

the escalator at R's suggestion to get some other shots. I sooo Love my camera!

After that, we made it to HOT TOPIC! I am an old-school Moonie and heard that they started to carry SAILOR MOON SHIRTS! Unfortunately, they only had one left. That was a complete

bummer. Yet, I did find something else I want big time! They have these CUTE headphones with kitty ears on it.. AWSOME. I contemplated getting them for myself, but they were a few dollars to much me. When I get my allowance this week.. You bet your ass that I am going back and getting them. I hate the normal ear buds that everyone uses these days. Give me the old-school headphones! I also love the fact that it has that 'fashion quality' to them. I might want to wear them even if they have no music playing in them ^_^;;

At the end of the trip, the took the kids to the play area that is located in the middle of the mall. It was fun chasing Tot-zilla as she rampaged through the play place. Mouse stayed close to Xian most of the trip and even played together the whole time. It was nice to get her out and playing with other kids. Tot-zilla even ran around and spread her love all over the place. She hugged random big kids and babies alike! She is so cute. ^_^;; After that, we went to the Disney store and Morgan picked out Princess Tiana, and a Ursula doll! What can I say? My daughter has a little of her mother in her. I would have picked Ursula too! Kendra slept the whole trip home.

All and all a great way to spend the day off: Food, friends, and an all around good time had by all!
